Nourishing Our Community, One Meal at a Time
Firehouse Ministries is Birmingham’s only agency providing three full, hot, and nutritious meals—plus snacks—to those experiencing homelessness. Every day, we serve lunch at 11:30 am, welcoming the entire homeless community with the support of dedicated volunteers. In recent years, we’ve averaged 125 meals served daily, ensuring no one goes without.
We partner with local food banks to provide balanced, healthy meals, but the heart of our pantry is filled through generous donations from area churches, businesses, and individuals who rally together to keep it stocked.
Each evening at 7:30 pm, volunteers serve dinner to the men staying at our Emergency Shelter, offering them nourishment and comfort as they settle in for the night.
